The most popular theory is that the creator fund program was created to help new creators gain followers and keep them entertained while they grow their audience. As a result, some TikTok users feel like this might be affecting their views because there are more videos in the feed than usual which means people will spend less time on each video.

TikTok refutes the claim that joining the creator fund program reduces views. The only way to know for sure is if you try it out yourself and see what happens, but TikTok maintains that joining will not negatively affect your page’s performance in any way.
From the conversation that I’ve had with the different people that have joined the program, it seems to me that when you join the program, your TikTok performance could go either way. Some may experience a drop in views while others may see an increase in it.
I asked this question in a Facebook group I moderate. The group centers around strategies for growing your TikTok and getting your videos to go viral.
About 55% of the respondents claimed their views dropped when they joined the program.
The others disapproved and some even said their views went up when they joined the program.
The general consensus is if you have a decent following and a steady grip on your niche the creator fund won’t mess you up.
How Do You Sign up for the Creator Fund Program on Tiktok?
To join the Creator Fund program, you will only need to apply through the TikTok app. You’ll need to convert your account to pro/creator then read and accept the terms and agreements and then wait for a response from them.
