How to Get Back Into an Instagram Account When You Are Locked Out

“What do you do when you are locked out of your Instagram or your client’s Instagram? One of the accounts I manage got somehow stuck on a 2fa “loop” when 2fa was never set up, to begin with. I have had zero luck trying to connect with someone at Facebook/Instagram support- it’s now been about 4 months!”

If you are locked out of your Instagram account, there are a few steps you can take to try to get back in. First, if you have access to the email address or phone number associated with the account, you can request a password reset. If you don’t have access to those, you can try contacting Instagram support.

Instagram account locked out

If you are locked out of your Instagram account, the first thing you should try is resetting your password. To do this, go to the Instagram login page and click on the “Forgot Password” link. Enter the email address or phone number associated with your account and follow the instructions to reset your password.

If you don’t have access to the email address or phone number associated with your account, you can try contacting Instagram support. To do this, go to the Instagram Help Center and click on the “Need more help” link. From there, you will be able to fill out a form to contact Instagram support.

Be sure to include as much information as possible about your problem and why you think you are being locked out of your account.

Unfortunately, if you are unable to reset your password or contact Instagram support, there is not much else you can do. In these cases, it is likely that the account has been taken over by someone else and there is no way to get it back.

If this happens, you will need to create a new account and start from scratch.

While it can be frustrating to be locked out of your Instagram account, there are a few steps you can take to try to get back in. First, try resetting your password. If that doesn’t work, try contacting Instagram support. Unfortunately, if neither of those things works, there is not much else you can do and you will need to create a new account.
