Starting afresh on YouTube is difficult, but how do you get started when your channel only has 0 views and 0 subscribers?
The good news is that growing from 0 on YouTube isn’t difficult, but it does take work.
If you want real results, the key is consistency. Keep at it and don’t give up! Here are some tips for how to start growing your YouTube:
Step One: Start A YouTube Channel
The first step to growing on youtube from 0 is starting a channel.
Consider how you want to present yourself and what type of videos you’ll post.
Keep in mind that your channel name, profile picture, banner image, bio, URL link (Channel URL), background-color/picture, and intro/outro all make up your YouTube brand.
They’re how people will identify you and how they’ll find your content.
Step Two: Use Keywords to Optimize Your Videos & Channel Name
When choosing a YouTube channel name, be sure that it’s relevant and contains keywords/phrases that are popular on the platform.
For example, if you’re planning to make how-to videos, consider including keywords like “how to” and “tutorial” in your channel name.
You also want to optimize videos on YouTube with keywords and phrases.
For how-to type videos, choose a main keyword/phrase that you’d like people to search for such as how to use Snapchat or how to bake brownies.
Then sprinkle secondary keywords throughout the video description (e.g. how to use Snapchat on Android) and tags (e.g., how to, Snapchat tutorial).
Step Three: Create a Thumbnail for Every Video You Post
Images are everything in today’s age of social media!
